Go into the old mine's ventilation chimney.  Gold panning (we have pans)

Visit the Blackball Salami shop, sample and buy!

Blackball Bling and Kereru Crafts offer some handmade west coast goodies!

Visit the Working Class History Museum next door

Tramp the Croesus track from Blackball to Barrytown or stay overnight at the Ces Clark or Garden Gully hut.

Explore the tunnels under the town. You'll need a torch and gumboots

Go up the Moonlight valley (4WD)

View the old mine managers house/Blackball Community Centre (which is recorded as the South Islands most haunted building)
You can park your camper van there too

See the gold dredge, the biggest in the southern hemisphere
