WHAT'S UP?

Hi everyone

The days are getting longer and warmer - perfect weather for sitting out the front of the Hilton with a wine or beer!

We have a new summer menu which is on the website. We pride ourselves in using local produce when available. We use produce from the Blackball Salami shop in most of our dishes.

We have extended our dining room to flow through into the garden. It look fantastic. Come see for yourself.

The shell of the new Blackball Museum has arrived and looks fantastic. This facility will be open to the public in the New Year.

Upcoming events

23 January - Live Irish singer at the Hilton - 8pm. Not to be missed for 'sure'

12 March - Mike King will be at the Hilton. The price for tickets is $20.00 with door sales $25.00 (limited). Tickets available from the Hilton or the Information Centre (next to the picture theatre). The show is for three hours so you may want to book a room for the night. Please book if you are wanting to dine before the show.

26 June - 11 July 2010 the Hilton will be turning 100!!

July 2 Friday Previous/current staff mix and mingle with VIPs and pyrotechnic display

July 3 Saturday Vintage car parade, buffet meal & Kokatai band*

July 4 Sunday Tribute to American Independence Day – band (afternoon)

July 9 Friday Paris look-a-like contest

July 10 Saturday Rufus guts band – dubstep & drum & bass

*Bookings essential

Every Sunday through June and July Devonshire teas $5.00 pp
Every day through June and July a static photo display will be at the Hilton

It will be advisable to book a room if you wish to stay during this time
